Incentive design simulator
This shows the incentives a plan creates: where a rep may delay a deal, pull one forward or stop earning. Drag a control; every curve, number and verdict moves with it. Raise the quota and watch the comp cost and the pence-per-£ fall because the same OTE is spread over more bookings. Meridian is a made-up company. Your scenario inputs stay in this browser. Copy link saves the exact plan to share.
The plan
Hard cap: nothing pays above the line.
Model assumptions: annual OTE and quota; commission begins above the threshold with no retroactive catch-up; one accelerator rate above quota. Draws, guarantees, tiered rates and quota-credit rules sit outside this demo.

Fig. 02 · marginal incentive — what the next £1 earns
A positive line keeps paying. The floor pays £0. When the cyan line reaches the floor, the next deal earns no extra commission. That creates a reason to delay it.
